Accepted forms of payment:
We accept money orders, certified and cashiers checks or credit card orders through PayPal
for immediate shipping. We accept personal checks but they must clear your bank before we
can ship an item. Personal checks that are returned for insufficient funds will not be
honored or reprocessed. Custom orders must be paid for in full before work is begun on
them.
Paying By Mail: If you would like to pay for an item by money order or
personal check, email us at sales@sugareestitches.com
Include the item code (found at the bottom of the item page, next to the price), your full
name, shipping address and method of payment. You will receive a confirmation email with
the total cost of the item including shipping and optional insurance, at which time the
item will become unavailable for purchase pending your payment. We will make the item
unavailable for a period of ten (10) business days. If we do not receive your payment
within ten (10) days the item is subject to resale. Be sure to include the item title on
your check or money order. |
Shipping:
We ship via USPS Priority Mail. If you would like to use another shipper, please contact
us and we can make arrangements. Shipping charges are based on weight. Shipments up to 5
lbs. are $5-$12 within the continental U.S. Insurance may be purchased starting at $1.60,
it includes delivery confirmation and we strongly suggest it. We will email you
with tracking numbers whenever possible. We charge a minimal amount for packaging and
handling and it is always included in your shipping quote. Please visit USPS

Payments & Returns:
Unworn/unaltered items may be returned for refund or exchange. All tags and labels must be
intact and attached to the garment. We cannot refund shipping charges on items
returned for refund. We will pay return shipping charges for items returned for exchange.
We will also pay return shipping charges for items up to 3 lbs. that are returned for
alteration. Custom items are not refundable unless we are able to resell the item at or
above the initial purchase price, and we cannot guarantee the reselling of items or the
time it will take to do so.

How To Measure Yourself:
It is best to have someone help you with this.
CHEST= Around your ribcage. For best accuracy measure under your armpits and
above your bustline, then 4 - 5 inches below your armpits and under your breasts, then
average the two measurements.
CUP SIZE= This is your bra size (e.g.: 32C, 44DD, etc.) If you want your bust held very
securely, subtract 2 cup sizes.
WAIST= The narrowest part, not the top of your hips or where the waistband of your jeans
might sit!
BELLY= Around the middle of your gut, right across your belly button.
HIPS= About 1 inch below the top of your hip bone, around the widest part.
WAIST-TO-ANKLE= From your waist to just above the knobby bones of your ankle. Any lace on
the bottom of a skirt will start from here.
INSEAM= From where the inside of your leg meets your crotch down to just below the knobby
bones of your ankle.
LEG LENGTH= From the top of your hip bone to the top of your foot. |
About Us:
Sugaree Stitches is a family business. Lisa has been sewing
one-of-a-kind clothing since 1988. She started off selling clothes in the parking lots at
concerts. She gets immense satisfaction in the happiness that people get from her
creations. Words cannot express the amount of love and attention to detail that she puts
into everything she makes! Being a full-time Mother of four kids, it's hard to find time
during the day to sew; consequently, she has a lot of sleepless nights ;)
Stu is a Chef. He spends his sleepless nights, and days off, helping Lisa
update this site and wrangle the kids.He takes care of the packing, shipping, and most of
the business end of things.
We met in 2002 after a Widespread Panic show in Savannah, Georgia. We had a
great time for a couple of years selling clothes at shows. Then the new kids came, along
with a new house, and production ceased for a while. We're getting back into the swing of
things and we hope to see you all, and all our old friends, at shows and festivals in the
future. We believe in humankind; and that through compassion, caring and respect for our
planet and the living things that inhabit it we can all realize a higher consciousness!
